Amie

Amie started working with Access Gallery when she was 17 years old. She had no formal art training, but an innate gift with drawing and painting. As a first generation Cambodian immigrant, with little money to buy art supplies, Amie has always been resourceful when it comes to her art. Using ink, a vintage pen, and colored pencils, Amie created art telling a story about her love for wolves and how she sees herself, her friends and her family taking on the spirits of these sacred animals through her art. She can paint a pet portrait in a few hours and make it look like it took days. Since Amie started with Artworks, she has explored many different mediums and has become quite a well-known and successful artist.
