Brittany Murdock
Access Gallery Artist since 2005
Brittany began her artistic journey at Access Gallery, initially working with painting before expanding into creating pony bead bracelets and keychains. During a high school project, she was deeply inspired by the culture and art of Aboriginal peoples, sparking a lasting interest in dot painting—a technique she has returned to over the years. Brittany showcased her work in Access Gallery’s 10-year anniversary exhibition, reviving her dot-painting style and later teaching workshops on the technique. Her research into sculpture led her to admire the large-scale works of Jeffrey Gibson, inspiring her own larger beaded creations

Artist Statement
Throughout my life I have been interested in art. This inspires me to make artwork about everything. I work with paint markers and pencils. I choose these materials because it allows me to express my art style. When people see my work, I’d like them to look at more of my art.
